Job Description:
The OR RN will primarily support Open Heart Surgery cases and must be able to scrub independently for Cardiac/Open Heart procedures. The nurse will also function in a circulator role and may be assigned to other specialties such as:
Urology / GYN / Dental / Robotic / Plastics / ENT
General / Vascular / Thoracic / Pulmonary
Orthopedic / Pain / Podiatry
Call Requirements:
Required and self-scheduled within a small Open-Heart team
Weeknights: End of shift – 06:30 AM (Mon–Fri)
Weekends: 06:30 AM – 06:30 AM (Sat–Sun)
Call will be at the Belleville campus only
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience
CVOR experience required; General OR/Hybrid OR preferred
Must be able to scrub independently for cardiac cases
EPIC experience required
First-time travelers accepted
BLS required, ACLS preferred
Locals not accepted (must live 75+ miles away)
No pending license accepted
