Job Title: RN ICU
Location: Herrin, IL
Shift: Work Hours: 19:00 to 0730
Weekends: Every other Friday and Saturday night

Job Description – ICU RN (Night Shift, 13 Weeks)

• 13-week night shift contract position in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Seeking RNs with at least 2 years of ICU experience (required)
• Will work with a young and dynamic ICU team, requiring solid clinical and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients to identify mental, physical, and spiritual needs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and their families/responsible persons
• Use clinical judgment to identify and report changes in patient condition promptly
• Promote a healthy work environment by managing conflict with professional communication
• Fulfill responsibilities related to Core Measures for patient care
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development
  
  Additional Requirements:
   
• Current Illinois RN License
• CPR/BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• PALS / NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Fetal Monitoring
• OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
