Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - Registered Nurse - $2,206 per week

Shift:

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.
3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).
This role may require floating to additional units and locations
Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role.
Additional Details
Required Skills/Experience:

Neonatal Phlebotomy, Experience in a level 3 NICU or greater
Advanced skills needed:

Mechanical Ventilation including High Frequency Ventilators (Jet or Oscillator) minimum of 3 years
Preferred Skills/Experience:

Neonatal Surgical Recovery preferred
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:

Circumcision PDA Ligation Chest tube placement ROP Total Body Cooling
Equipment Used on Unit:

Primarily Jet based HFV, NAVA ventilators
Technology Used on Unit:

CPN primary Meditech secondary

Shift & Scheduling:

every other weekend
Floating Requirements:

Float to Women's Hospital Units (Peds >1yrs, Newborn Nursery, Tech for Ante or Postpartum)

10 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
Drivers license required

BLS (Basic Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program 8th Edition)
