Role Overview
- No hands-on PT care
- Average 12 cases per shift , working on 10–15 cases at a time
- Coordinate transfers across Dignity and non-Dignity hospitals
- Handle clinical data, patient reports, and vitals
- Arrange MD/specialist acceptance and bed placement
- LVNs focus on "refer outs" (when transfers can't be placed within Dignity)
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of ICU, ED, or transfer center experience
- Strong critical care assessment , clinical judgment, multitasking
- Acute care background required
- Computer-savvy : Cerner or EPIC, TeleTracking, Google Apps, TigerConnect
- First-time travelers accepted
Certifications
- License: RN (or LVN if applicable)
- Cert: BLS required
- No BSN required
Compliance Requirements
- 2 supervisor references (1 within last 12 months, 1 within 3 years)
- Cannot have been employed (FT, PT, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit facility in the past year (PRNs via outside agencies okay)
- Dysrhythmia (DYS) exam via UNA required before acceptance
- Pass/fail, 2 attempts (Test A, then B)
- Screenshot proof of attempts required
- Relias DYS exam accepted if within 12 months
