Position Overview:
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and timeliness in cleaning resort property units. You will ensure that you align with our company mission statement and values.
Essential Functions:
Support individuals with disabilities as needed to perform essential functions.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
Strip units of soiled linens and remove trash from units.
Clean various areas including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, closets, and decks.
Report clean units as vacant and ready for inspection.
Report maintenance issues in accordance with company procedures.
Identify and report damaged or stained carpets, drapes, furniture, and linens.
Notify Supervisor of missing inventory and supplies.
Perform weekly guest service cleans as directed.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
Attend all training sessions and apply learned skills effectively.
Ensure a safe working environment at all times.
Respond promptly to guest complaints.
Maintain a strong sense of urgency to ensure units are turned over on time.
Complete other assigned duties as necessary.
Experience and Education Requirements:
Previous experience in housekeeping preferred, but not required.
Ability to lift 25 pounds (with or without accommodation).
Strong decision-making skills.
Effective planning and scheduling abilities.
Capability to read, write, and perform basic math.
Demonstrated personal timeliness with assignments.
A passion for cleanliness.
Strong work ethic and adaptability to change.
Willingness to work irregular hours.
Travel is rarely required.
