Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Nursing Job in Ashland, Wisconsin

• Duration: 13-week contract (Start:– End

• Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (all shifts available)
• Unit: Emergency Room (12 ER rooms, 2 Trauma rooms, 5 Urgent Care rooms)
• Charting System: EPIC (EPIC training provided during orientation)
• Orientation: 3 days of department orientation
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
• Preferred: Experience with EPIC charting system
• Ability to pass ESI ENA triage test (80% or higher required for triage role)
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills in a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy Emergency Room (averagepatients/day, including urgent care)
• Perform triage, assessments, and interventions following ESI ENA guidelines
• Administer medications, IV drips (Heparin, sedation, pressors), and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, LPNs, nurse techs, and other healthcare professionals
• Participate in team nursing and provide support to urgent care as needed
• Assist with patient transport, including accompanying critical patients to radiology
• Accurately document patient care in EPIC
• Maintain a safe environment, including care for psychiatric patients in a designated psych room
• Work rotating shifts, including 2 weekends per month and holidays as needed
