PCU RN Job Details

• Location: Corvallis, OR 97330 (Oregon travel nursing jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Start Date: October 7, 2025
• End Date: January 6, 2026
• Duration: 13-week travel nurse contract
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,950 - $2,090

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license (required at submission)
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification
• AHA ACLS and NIHSS certifications (required for PCU 2S)
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and basic EKG experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent (required for moderate complexity testing)
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in an acute care or PCU setting

PCU RN Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to moderately stable, acutely ill patients at risk for instability
• Utilize advanced patient monitoring, assessments, and clinical interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical staff
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory healthcare standards
