About the Role: Receptionist
The Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a warm, welcoming, and organized environment at the organization's headquarters. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, the Receptionist ensures smooth daily operations and supports the team with essential administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities of the Receptionist:
Front Desk Support: Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and care. Occasionally, redirect individuals from the adult daycare center to the appropriate location.
Phone Management: The Receptionist will answer and route incoming calls, provide basic information using a reference pamphlet, and offer guidance on external resources when needed.
Mail Processing: Sort incoming mail, including donations and checks. The Receptionist will scan and upload documentation, generate receipts in the system, and manage outgoing mail.
Administrative Support: Handle purchase orders and office supply orders via OfficeMax or Staples. The Receptionist will also coordinate service calls for malfunctioning office equipment.
The Receptionist may occasionally assist by directing patients who enter through the headquarters, contacting the appropriate team to escort them.
As a Receptionist, you'll be a key part of providing a professional and compassionate front-office experience.
Preferred Qualifications for the Receptionist Role:
1+ years of experience in customer service or receptionist roles.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Friendly, professional demeanor with a heart for service.
