Franchise Development Analyst

Position Summary

The Franchise Development Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the company's franchise growth strategy. This position is responsible for analyzing franchise opportunities, preparing financial and market analyses, and providing insights that guide decision-making. The analyst will collaborate with development, operations, finance, and marketing teams to evaluate prospective franchise partners, track performance metrics, and ensure alignment with corporate growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis and modeling for prospective franchise opportunities.

• Research and evaluate market trends, competitor performance, and industry benchmarks.

• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for the franchise development leadership team.

• Support due diligence efforts for new franchise partners, including review of financials, creditworthiness, and business plans.

• Maintain and update franchise development databases and dashboards to track leads, prospects, and performance metrics.

• Collaborate with operations and finance teams to assess profitability, ROI, and long-term viability of franchise agreements.

• Assist in preparing documentation, contracts, and disclosure requirements for new franchisees.

• Monitor existing franchisee performance and identify areas for improvement or risk.

• Support strategic initiatives, including territory planning, expansion strategies, and franchise recruitment campaigns.

• Provide ad hoc analysis and participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (required).

• 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or franchise development (preferred).

• Experience in multi-unit retail, QSR, or franchise-based businesses (a plus).

Skills & Abilities

• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting tools (Power BI or Tableau a plus).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports and deliver presentations.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Strong business acumen and ability to interpret financial statements.

• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments.
