Position Summary

The Financial Analyst supports corporate and business unit leadership by providing financial insights, developing models, and preparing reports that drive data-informed decision-making. This role is responsible for financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs). The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, delivering actionable recommendations that support growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

• Perform detailed variance analysis on financial results compared to budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.

• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.

• Monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights to drive performance improvements.

• Partner with business units to evaluate financial performance, risks, and opportunities.

• Support preparation of board materials, investor presentations, and executive-level reporting.

• Assist with annual budgeting and long-term strategic planning processes.

• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support special projects, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.

• Collaborate with accounting, operations, and other departments to ensure data accuracy and alignment.

• Continuously identify and recommend process improvements to enhance financial reporting and analysis.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or FP&A.

• Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with financial modeling and scenario analysis.

• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with the ability to present insights to leadership.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).

• Progress toward CFA, CPA, or MBA considered a plus.

• Experience in a multi-unit retail, automotive, or franchise-based business.
