Med/Surg RN Job Details

• Location: Hendersonville, TN 37075 (Greater Nashville area)
• Healthcare Setting: Medical/Surgical Unit
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/20/2025 – End: 1/19/2026)
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,530 - $1,640

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
• Strong clinical assessment, patient care, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in the Medical/Surgical unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management, discharge instructions, and post-hospital care
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive clinical environment for patients
