Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Onc/Surg position in Alaska with oncology experience and valid AK RN license required.

Responsibilities

Work in an Oncology Medical unit within a hospital setting
Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
13-week contract assignment
Primary patient population includes oncology and medical-surgical cases
Care for oncology and med/surg patients in a multidisciplinary team environment
Required to provide valid U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
No Canadian Social Security Numbers accepted

Requirements

Active Alaska RN license required
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in oncology or medical-surgical nursing
AHA or ARC BLS certification that is valid through the assignment
ONC (Oncology Nurse Certification) required for all RNs working in Oncology
No work history gaps equal to or exceeding 90 days in the past 12 months
