Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments per approved nursing techniques and facility policies.

• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during resident treatments and exams.

• Observe and document resident conditions, notifying supervisors, physicians, and families of significant changes.

• Take vital signs and monitor deviations from normal.

• Assign duties and coordinate nursing services to ensure resident needs are met.

• Consult with shift supervisors regarding nursing issues and facility policies.

• Participate in orientation, training, and evaluation of nursing personnel.

• Evaluate nursing activities to maintain quality care and staff efficiency.

• Maintain records for unit narcotics and inspect rooms for cleanliness and comfort.

• Document admissions, discharges, transfers, and incident reports accurately.

• Participate in care planning, completing nursing assessments and resident care plans.

• Complete special projects and audits as assigned.

• Maintain educational requirements for Michigan licensure and attend in-services/ward conferences.

• Uphold resident confidentiality, dignity, and rights; report accidents and injuries promptly.

Submission Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in LTC, SNF, or Med/Surg – Required

• At least one successful travel RN assignment – Required

• BLS certification – Required
