• Assignment Type: Locum tenens (Travel Nursing Contract)
• Unit: Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, and Nursery (LDRPN)
• Start Date: October 27, 2025
• End Date: January 24, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM; 3 shifts/week (12-hour shifts); every other weekend required
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Hourly Pay Range: $48-$62/hr
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2020-$2070

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
• Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• At least 1 year of experience with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)
• Proficiency in labor, postpartum, and special care nursing
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

L&D RN Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care to mothers and newborns in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide and document care
• Delegate, supervise, and educate patients and their families on care plans and postpartum support
• Communicate essential patient and family information to the healthcare team
• Identify and implement solutions for variances from patient goals
• Demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge and analytical skills to develop effective care plans
• Perform a variety of professional nursing services in labor, postpartum, and special care settings
