Our client, a leader in public service support, is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join their team. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be part of the General Services team supporting various operational needs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage time effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Assistant

Location: Lakeland, FL

Pay Range: $15.50/hour

What's the Job?

• Assist with internal and external moves for the department, ensuring all safety issues are addressed immediately.
• Manage the keycard system and make keys for employees as requested, keeping a detailed log.
• Support disaster management efforts during hurricane preparedness and recovery.

What's Needed?

• Ability to communicate effectively via phone and email across the agency.
• Willingness to learn about various operational areas and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills to keep the warehouse neat and tidy.
• Capability to operate hand dollies and other tools safely and effectively.
• Open-mindedness and adaptability to manage a variety of tasks.
