Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab settings and be proficient in various cardiac procedures. The candidate should demonstrate excellent technical skills and a keen ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment and maintain sterile field during procedures
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures including left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, and PTCA
- Monitor patient status and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
- Perform IABP placement and removal
- Assist in the insertion of cardiac devices such as stents and closure devices
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab setting
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, CCI RCIS
