Job Number: R0228258 Software Engineer The Opportunity: In this opportunity, you become the driving force behind a custom deployed Booz Allen Command and Control Modeling and Simulation ( M & S ) capability. The capability is a heavily customized implementation of the commer cia l, Java-based, Anylogic Tool. The world can't wait. You Have: * Experience independently learning and developing within an existing codebase
* Experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing sof tware programming applications
* Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
* Ability to work on client site
* Ability to obtain a TS / SCI clearance
* Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: * 3+ years of experience in sof tware engineering
* Experience in Java or Python
* Experience with Modeling and Simulation ( M & S ) or DoD Command and Control processes
* Experience with Anylogic or Apache Kafka
* Ability to write source code for new applications or generate and enhance code for existing applications
* Ability to acquire client requirements, establish and execute a workflow, and deploy code

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
