Who Will You Be Working With?

You will be working directly with the Nordco business unit at Wabtec, collaborating with cross-functional teams in sales, marketing, engineering, operations, and finance. Your primary interactions will include key customers, internal teams, company headquarters and leadership.

How Will You Make a Difference?

You will drive the strategic growth of the Nordco product line, which includes a full compliment of Roadway Work Equipment (RWE). You will be tasked with developing and executing a progressive growth strategy such that performance meets or exceeds the established performance metrics along with Company goals for safety, environmental stewardship, growth, profitability, quality and delivery of products to customers, and customer satisfaction.

What Do We Want to Know About You?

We are looking for someone with:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (MBA preferred)
• Minimum 15 years of leadership experience in sales, marketing, engineering, and operations
• Proven track record managing P&L for industrial manufacturing businesses
• Experience in low volume/high mix equipment environment where aftermarket parts and services are a significant aspect of the business' strategy along with site facility management and Lean Enterprise fundamentals
• Strong strategic thinking and process management skills
• Ability to build and motivate high-performing teams

Your day will involve:

• Developing and executing growth strategies
• Monitoring business performance metrics
• Communicating with headquarters and leadership
• Leading team meetings and strategic planning sessions
• Reviewing product development and market trends
• Engaging with key customers
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives

What About the Physical Demands of the Job?

The physical demands of the job include:

• Up to 25% travel required
• Primarily light duty work
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds
• Requires sitting, standing, and walking unassisted
• Use of hands and fingers to handle tools or controls
• Ability to talk and hear
• Normal correctable vision required

The salary range for this role is between $161,300.00-$229,800.00. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, are available at mywabtecbenefits.com. Other benefit offerings for this role may include an annual bonus and equity offerings, if eligible.
