Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Illinois.
Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities
- Circulate and scrub across multiple surgical specialties.
- Maintain sterile field and enforce infection control protocols.
- Anticipate surgeon needs and manage surgical equipment/supplies (Hana table, ESU, fiber optic systems, Da Vinci Xi, Mazor robot).
- Provide trauma and emergency response support (codes, malignant hyperthermia, latex allergy management).
- Administer blood products, perform specimen handling/labeling, and enforce Universal Protocol/Time Out procedures.
- Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical teams, and interdisciplinary services (respiratory, PT, RRT, pharmacy, radiology)Unit & Case Mix:
- General OR, trauma, bariatrics, neuro, ortho/spine, plastics, urology, transplant, and emergency management.
- Excludes CV surgery.
- Level I trauma exposure required.
- Active Illinois RN license
- Minimum 3 years OR experience; travel and Level I trauma required.
- Certifications: BLS required; CNOR preferred.
