Long-Term Acute Care Registered Nurse

Location: Lakewood, NJ
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 8 Weeks (extension possible)
Shift: Days | 7:00 AM 7:00 PM | 36 hrs/week
Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and holiday
Job Description: The Long-Term Acute Care RN provides direct and indirect care to medically complex patients in an LTAC setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and experience managing patients with trachs, vents, drips, wounds, cardiac conditions, and stable post-trauma recovery.
Essential Duties:
Deliver patient care according to nursing standards
Monitor and assess patient conditions
Administer medications and manage treatments
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate documentation
Provide a safe and therapeutic environment
Minimum Requirements:
Active RN license (state-specific)
Minimum 1 year of LTAC or similar experience
Experience with trachs, vents, and drips
Current CPR certification
TB screening and health certificate (as required)
Must be at least 18 years of age
