Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery and Med-Surg role with rotating shifts and charge nurse responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Work in a critical access hospital setting covering both OB/Labor & Delivery and Med-Surg units
- Primary focus on obstetrics and labor and delivery patients, with assignments to Med-Surg if OB needs are low
- Rotating day and night 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
- May be assigned Charge RN duties as needed
- No routine on-call expectations
- Responsibilities include caring for laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and general Med-Surg care when needed
- Care for a diverse patient population including adult, mother/baby, orthopedic, and pediatric cases as assigned
- Scrub and dress code requirements will be provided during onboarding
- Holiday shift coverage is determined by facility rotation
Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 3 years of recent experience required
- Labor and Delivery experience is required
