I. Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure quality nursing care and maximize the quality of life for patients. The RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, supports culture change initiatives, and serves as a role model and mentor.
II. Position Responsibilities:
The RN ensures care within scope and standards, collaborates with team members, adheres to best practices, maintains accountability for assigned patients, documents appropriately, and participates in quality improvement. They may serve as a charge nurse, delegate tasks, and oversee care delivery.
III. Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved nursing program (BSN preferred), current MA RN license, previous experience preferred, strong communication and organizational skills, computer literacy, and a commitment to the philosophy of Hebrew SeniorLife.
