Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of experience and Home Health background for weekday shifts in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with possibility of covering additional locations such as WFC or home health based on training
• Physical Therapy treatments provided across the hospital as needed
• Utilizes computers, documentation systems, and standard therapy equipment
• 8-hour day shifts, weekdays only with no on-call or weekend requirement
• Responsibilities include conducting physical therapy assessments, planning treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Comprehensive training on documentation systems provided, with ongoing support from a collaborative and supportive department
• Scrubs or business casual attire accepted
• Teamwork and strong communication skills are valued in this department

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent physical therapy experience preferred
• Home Health experience required
• Current Alaska (AK) Physical Therapist license required, if applicable
• Familiarity with standard therapy equipment and computerized documentation systems
