Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Full-time position working 40 hours per week
• Work with cardiology team to assist in delivery of direct and indirect patient care
• Prepare patients and diagnostic equipment for imaging procedures
• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
• Obtain high quality imaging and assist physicians with data interpretation
• Maintain proper record keeping according to hospital and practice standards
• Must be proficient in all imaging modalities of Adult Echocardiography including Transthoracic Echo, Stress Echo, and Transesophageal Echo (TEE)
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer through ARDMS or CCI (R.D.C.S. or R.C.S.) preferred with registry required within 1 year of employment
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider) certification required
• Provide patient/caregiver education and act as patient advocate
• Demonstrate clinical competence in all echocardiography modalities
• Organize exam rooms, set up procedures, and assist with quality monitoring
• Work in fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and organizational skills
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, physicians, and clinical staff
• Maintain knowledge and competency standards set by ARDMS and/or CCI credentialing organizations
