Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Middlebury, VT 05753 (Vermont healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Porter Birthing Center
• Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D), Post-Partum, Newborn Care
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights
• Hours per Week: 36
• Assignment Length: 4 weeks (Start: 9/15/2025, End: 10/13/2025)
• Schedule: Rotating Monday to Sunday; every other weekend required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2520 - $2700

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Vermont or compact state; must be on file at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent LDRP experience (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Post-Partum, and Newborn Care)
• Current AHA BLS and NRP certifications required
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (mandatory)
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Ability to float to med-surg and emergency department (ED) units as needed
• Reliable transportation required (public transportation not available in this area)

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in labor, delivery, post-partum, and newborn care settings
• Monitor and assess mothers and newborns, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the birthing process
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide high-quality clinical support
• Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR
• Float to medical-surgical and emergency department units as required
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
