Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with recent trauma and women's health outpatient experience for a comprehensive rehabilitation unit.
Responsibilities
- Position is based in a 24-bed specialized rehabilitation unit
- Provides care for patients recovering from strokes, motor vehicle accidents, and other disabling conditions
- Serves a population in need of physical restoration after disease or injury
- Multidisciplinary team environment alongside physicians, rehabilitation nurses, and various therapists
- Outpatient caseload with a focus on women's health
- Role involves collaborating with a diverse interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
- Candidates must maintain active licensure throughout the assignment
- Standard dress code or scrubs as designated by department guidelines
- Not open to local candidates within a 75-mile radius
Requirements
- Current active PT license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy required
- Women's health PT experience required
- BLS certification required
- Must comply with a 75-mile radius rule; local candidates are not eligible
