Customer Service Representative

Our client, a utility service provider, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be part of the Customer Support Department supporting customer interactions and operational activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a service-oriented mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Location: Raleigh, NC

Pay Range: $19.00 - $24.00 an hour

Shift: Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

What's the Job?

• Answer, process, and direct customer calls efficiently and professionally
• Understand billing policies and procedures to resolve customer inquiries
• Interact with operations to issue various customer notices and updates
• Perform data entry and processing of meter readings, service orders, and payments
• Update and maintain accurate customer account information

What's Needed?

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
• Customer-focused approach with a positive attitude
• Data entry experience and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
