Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Tech - Maternal Fetal with at least 1 year of OB/GYN sonography experience and current BLS & ARDMS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient perinatal clinic setting specializing in maternal fetal ultrasound
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No weekend or on-call required
• Potential to float to the Raleigh clinic to provide coverage as needed
• Experience using GE ultrasound equipment is required
• Orientation occurs bi-weekly
• First-time travelers are eligible for this assignment
• Responsibilities include performing maternal fetal imaging on a diverse female patient population
• Must be willing to float to the Raleigh clinic to provide coverage during staff absences
• Modules are completed during orientation and annually as required
• A minimum lead time of 3 weeks is required between booking and start date to complete credentialing and compliance processing

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an Ultrasound Tech - Maternal Fetal
• Current BLS and ARDMS OB/GYN certifications in hand at time of consideration
• Experience with GE ultrasound machines is required
• One supervisory reference from the past year is required
• Flu vaccination is required with no exemptions or declinations accepted
• Full SSN and DOB must be provided for consideration
• Locals accepted within a 75-mile radius at a reduced rate
• License required if applicable
