Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech Cardiac Imaging

Job Details:

• Perform cardiac diagnostic imaging procedures to study heart anatomy and hemodynamics
• Utilize two dimensional (2D) and Doppler modalities for comprehensive cardiac assessment
• Perform online calculations to quantify cardiac parameters of function and hemodynamics
• Assist Cardiologists during transesophageal echocardiograms
• Operate stress testing equipment and perform 12 lead electrocardiograms when necessary
• Review medical history and direct exams based on patient information
• Report abnormal findings to Cardiologists and take steps to safeguard patients
• Coordinate and communicate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
• Work independently and cover lead echo technician responsibilities when needed
• Monitor report turnaround times and ensure reports reach appropriate Cardiologists
• Clean and disinfect equipment including probes, order supplies when needed
• Minimum three years of experience required
• High School Diploma or equivalent and formal training from accredited medical sonography program required
• Must be credentialed by ARDMS as Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong computer, verbal, and written communication skills necessary
• Physical requirements include lifting 20-50 pounds occasionally and 10-25 pounds frequently
