Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years ED RN experience (Resource Team requirement)
Will accept a first-time traveler? Not preferred - will consider
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI required; TNCC (preferred)
Radius rule: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
Will be required to float per region needs - will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice - DECLINE if not agreeable
Region 1 floating includes: Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, any Freestanding ED within Region, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH)
If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)
General ED skillset required - Cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with critical care drips, vent management, chest tubes, PIV starts, TNK/TPA administration, conscious sedation, ESI Assessments, etc.
