Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, BLS, ARRT (R) certification, and Washington licensure for a fast-paced IR department assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital Interventional Radiology department supporting vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists
• Department uses Philips rooms (including one biplane) and one GE Hybrid room
• Patient population includes adults requiring interventional cardiology and vascular procedures
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Charting is done using Epic EMR, and experience is required
• Floating to other similar radiology units within the facility and state is required
• Collaborate with a skilled team in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• All requested time off must be included at time of application; additional RTO may not be approved
• Former permanent employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
• Professional scrubs required, color not specified
• COVID and flu vaccination records may be required during onboarding
• All travelers are expected to demonstrate flexibility and float within the scope of their skill set

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent interventional radiology technologist experience
• Current BLS and ARRT (R) certification required
• Washington State license required; license required if applicable
• IR/CV certification preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Candidates with a permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for travel contracts
• Pending license not accepted
