Shift: Day
Location: Providing Coverage for Henderson, Transylvania, Buncombe, Haywood, Polk, and Graham Counties
As a Medical Assistant, you will be vital in delivering quality patient care by:
Traveling as needed to meet staffing requirements and support clinic operations.
Providing thorough care during patient visits, including intake, test results, screenings, labs, medication administration, and closing care gaps.
Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding employees' and patients' medical and administrative information.
Conducting clinical intakes in line with established policies and procedures, which includes screenings, history taking, vital sign measurements, and medication reconciliation.
Assisting with minor procedures related to various specialties and ensuring accurate documentation at the time of service.
Qualifications:
The expertise and experiences required to succeed:
High School Graduate or Equivalent Required
Basic Life Support - CPR Certification (BLS) Required
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent from recognized organizations Required
1 year of practical medical assisting experience Preferred
