Responsibilities

1. Process customer orders daily to meet service expectations.
2. Work in one or more warehouse functions: receiving, picking, packing, shipping, or put-away.
3. Accurately pick items and prepare them for shipment.
4. Pack items using appropriate materials and documentation.
5. Label and package shipments according to standard operating procedures, including hazardous materials documentation.
6. Operate warehouse equipment such as swing reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, and order pickers (training provided if needed).
7. Use warehouse management systems to track inventory and complete tasks.
8. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
9. Follow all safety and compliance guidelines.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of general warehouse experience.
• Experience with powered industrial trucks (e.g., order pickers, forklifts, swing reach trucks).
• Experience handling hazardous materials (chemicals).
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems, computers, and scanning equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 20 feet.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new systems and equipment.
• Must be able to read and write in English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with computers and scanning equipment is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic and active warehouse setting, primarily on the 1st shift. Utilize various technologies and equipment, such as order pickers and forklifts, to execute tasks efficiently. Our facility prioritizes safety and cleanliness, ensuring a productive work environment for all team members.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Agawam, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

• The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.25/hr.
