Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in providing individualized nursing care to residents, employing the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Your responsibilities will include:
Caring for residents in phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
Coordinating care and conducting resident assessments.
Providing education and various nursing interventions.
May serve as a charge nurse.
Delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel effectively and safely.
Adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and established professional standards.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
A degree from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred).
A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing (preferred).
An unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
Required competencies and certifications maintained.
