Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with active CA licensure and home health experience for a day shift assignment within multiple counties.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting serving patients in Vacaville, Fairfield, Rio Vista, Suisun City, Dixon, Vallejo, Benicia, Napa, American Canyon, and Yountville
• Day shift schedule
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Productivity measured in points: most visits equal 1 point (1.33 hours), OASIS SoC equals 1.5 points (2 hours)
• Expected to travel within and occasionally beyond the assigned counties to meet caseload and visit requirements
• Weekend coverage and additional travel may be required to maintain visit expectations
• Primary duties include conducting evaluations, discharges, routine visits, re-evaluations, OASIS SoC, RoC, and ReCert visits
• Documentation, drive/travel time, and phone calls to patients and doctors are included in the work expectations
• Travelers must complete weekly visit point goals to maintain productivity and guarantee eligibility
• Travelers must be willing to see COVID+ and COVID PUI patients
• Smartphone and standard home health medical devices are provided for clinical use
• Former employees are not eligible for travel assignments
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upon application; additional time off after acceptance will not be approved
• Professional attire and use of required PPE as needed

Requirements

• Current, active CA Physical Therapist license (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of recent physical therapy experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and auto registration required
• Annual TB test required
• Vaccinations required: MMR, Varicella, HepB, TDap (within the last 10 years), annual Flu vaccine
• Pre-employment drug screen and physical required
