Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and Epic EMR proficiency for an evening shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care hospital on the CT Tech unit
• Evening shift schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• Weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday are required
• Department requires 2-4 days of on-call per month
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• Block scheduling is in place
• Epic EMR is used and experience is required
• Travelers may be required to float to nearby sister facilities as needed
• Must be willing and able to float between all facilities within the state as needed
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as travelers
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay
• Scrub color is any color for CT Tech; specialty areas provide scrubs
• Candidates must commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)
• Time off requests must be submitted up front; requests over 6 days may delay offer approval
• Completion of pre-start and annual non-billable onboarding modules is required
• Parking is free at the facility

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year CT Tech experience required
• Must have an active OR license or be able to provide proof it is in process (license required if applicable)
• Epic EMR experience required
• References: 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel between facilities
