Schedule: Part-time 32 hours

Shift : Friday-Monday 7:45am- 4:15pm

Location: 50 Hospital Drive, Hendersonville, NC 28792

The role you'll contribute:

Under general direction has authority, responsibility, and accountability for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of wound care throughout the agency. Provide direct patient care and education to selected patients. Provide for staff development in areas of expertise.

• Demonstrate critical thinking and independent decision making; utilizing policies and procedures, standards of care and data analysis.
• Develop and coordinate education plans appropriate to the learning style of the patient; patient family, and interdisciplinary care team members.
• Manage resources which promote cost effective, efficient operations and positive outcomes.
• Performs comprehensive patient assessments, anticipating potential care problems and prioritizing care needs to effectively provide optimum care

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

• Associate in Nursing Required
• 2 nursing experience in last 4 years Required
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation
• RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Required
• Accredited credential in Wound / Ostomy / Continence Nursing Upon Hire Required
