Position Overview

The Senior Restaurant Assistant Manager / FOH Manager is a lead front-of-house role responsible for managing all FOH operations in alignment with P.F. Chang's standards and the direction of the Operating Partner. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and operational management in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train Hospitality Team Members

• Conduct daily pre-shift meetings for team direction and motivation

• Develop and manage FOH team schedules

• Uphold dress code and company standards

• Ensure compliance with state and company food safety and sanitation guidelines

• Execute and support inventory management processes

• Control FOH-related operating costs

• Ensure completion of side work and accurate staff checkouts

• Foster a clean, safe, and guest-centric environment

• Address and resolve guest service issues with professionalism

• Maintain the integrity of the brand’s message and values

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for 8–10 hours per shift

• Lift and transport objects up to 30 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs)

• Reach, bend, and balance repeatedly

• Operate kitchen equipment including mixers, slicers, and knives

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience

• Proven ability to lead and train hourly team members

• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills

• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume settings

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in casual or upscale dining environments

• Familiarity with corporate restaurant systems and protocols

• Background in inventory management, cost control, and financial oversight
