Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

• 6 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from the last 3 years

Requirements:

• • Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• • This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• • Travel only, local not allowed.
• Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established, however this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so clinicians is aware of what location they’ll be reporting to.

Required Skills/Experience RN should be able to interpret common rhythms.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with post-op Cardiovascular Surgery Patients

Required Credentials:

• Day1 Pass Fail SIMs Lab: All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, with the exception of NyICU & ED. NyICU only has to do Foley catheter insertion. ED does Foley catheter insertion but does port-a-cath insertion instead of central line dressing change. This is for travelers going to St. Joseph main campus &/or St. Joseph Westgate campus.

• Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance, traveler has 2 attempts., if failed, will be DNU with CS AZ and Sac Region for 6 months

• Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

• Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: CABG, MVR, STEMI, HF, Fundoplication, VATS Decordication, vascular repair

Special Requests:

• No block scheduling.

• Travel Teams must have their own vehicles

Shift & Scheduling:

• 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks
