Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist or EP Technologist with a minimum of 3 years’ cath lab experience and RT(R) or RCIS certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Works in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting
- Performs all cases related to the cardiac cath lab and device implants
- Shift is 3x12 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- On call two nights per week and every fourth weekend
- Patient caseload includes cardiac cath and device implant procedures
- No floating within hospital or to affiliate hospitals required
- Will be responsible for scrubbing and panning all cath lab and device implant cases
- Required to take call for STEMI patients as part of the rotation
- Return staff policy prohibits candidates who have worked as perm staff at this facility or affiliate within the last 10 years
- Locals accepted at the same rate
- No mile radius rule applies
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a cardiac cath lab
- Associate of Science degree required
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT[R]) required; RCIS preferred
- State license required if applicable
- Copy of certifications required for consideration
- Must provide two references for consideration
