Labor & Delivery Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

Requirements:

• • Candidates must have a Arkansas license or compact license (required for submission).
• • This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• • Travel only, local not allowed.
• Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.
• • Flu vaccination required after submission.
• Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Pre-employment modules may be required for this role.

Previous Employment Requirements:

• Required Skills/Experience: Will circulate C-sections.
• Should be able to start IVs and draw labs on Moms and babies

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Required Credentials: All compliance docs are due 2 weeks prior to start date.
• Flu Vaccine: Medical declination is only accepted for anaphylactic shock.

Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Population (Diagnoses): High Risk OB patients, Newborn stabilization, Antepartum, Post-partum

Equipment Used on Unit: Alaris Pumps, Epidural pumps, SCDs, Fetal monitor, Infant warmer

Technology Used on Unit:

Unit/Facility Details: 14 bed LDR with 4 bed triage, 3 bed PACU, and 3 ORs / 3500 deliveries per year

Special Requests:

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends only (Fri, Sat, Sun or Sat, Sun, Mon)

Rotating weekends and holidays.

Floating Requirements:

• 7 days maximum time off
• 2 references from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
• Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• Intermediate AWHONN FHM (Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring)
