Telemetry RN Job Details – Salem, MA

• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing (On-Site)
• Unit: Pingree 5 Med Surg Telemetry
• Location: Salem, MA 01970 (Massachusetts healthcare jobs)
• Start Date: November 2, 2025
• End Date: January 31, 2026
• Duration: 13-week travel nurse contract
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), rotating as needed to cover open night shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1780 - $1910
• EMR: EPIC
• Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1 RN : 4-5 patients
• Floating: Required as needed to other medical-surgical units

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 3 years of recent telemetry nursing experience in an acute care or hospital setting
• Skilled in reading and interpreting cardiac telemetry strips
• Experience with adult medical-surgical patient care
• Ability to float to other med-surg or telemetry units as needed
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR preferred
• Completion of all required onboarding exams and health screenings (MMR, Influenza, TB Test, Fit Test, Medication and Dysrhythmia Exams, background checks)
• Submission of updated resume, professional references, and nursing skills checklist

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical patients in a telemetry unit
• Monitor, interpret, and document cardiac telemetry strips accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure high-quality clinical support and patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments and care using the EPIC EMR system
• Maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios and adhere to hospital standards
• Float to other units as required to support staffing needs
• Participate in rotating night and weekend shifts to provide comprehensive patient coverage
