Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a Level 1 trauma teaching hospital, requiring 4 years of CT experience and ARRT (CT) certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a large hospital with 637 licensed beds and Level 1 trauma designation
• Department processes an average of 100 patients per day including inpatients, outpatients, and ER cases
• Utilizes EPIC EMR, Philips PACS, and GE CT scanners
• 12-hour day shifts from Saturday to Monday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, for a 13-week contract
• No call or weekend rotation required
• No floating required outside the department
• Holiday coverage is expected for holidays falling during the contract
• Scrub color is black
• Work with diverse inpatient, outpatient, and ER populations in a high-acuity, inclusive environment
• Inclusive department culture
• Orientation includes facility NEO and 1-day departmental training
• Parking provided at a biweekly rate
• RTO requests require manager approval

Requirements

• Current ARRT (CT) certification and BLS required
• A minimum of 4 years of CT technologist experience
• IV start skills required
• Experience with EPIC EMR and GE CT scanners preferred
• Must have recent experience within the last year in unit specialty
• Not accepting first-time travelers
• License required if applicable
