Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of radiology experience and current ARRT (CT) certification for a weekend shift assignment in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an acute care environment on the CT/XRay Tech unit
• Work schedule is Friday through Sunday, 3x12 hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
• Unit performs computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures
• Uses EpicCare Inpatient EMR for charting
• Responsibilities include performing high quality CT imaging procedures following safety protocols
• Must demonstrate thorough knowledge of CT theory, procedures, and safety precautions
• Experience with electronic patient information systems preferred
• Team-oriented work environment with support from radiology staff
• No orientation hours provided for assignment

Requirements

• Current ARRT (CT) certification required
• Washington State certification required for at least two specialties, one of which must be bone density, CT, quality management special procedures, or mammography
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years experience in radiology required
• Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training is required
• Experience or knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy preferred for CT
• License required if applicable
