Environmental Project Manager

We are seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead and manage a diverse portfolio of environmental projects, including writing and reviewing technical reports and proposals, and overseeing staff. The role encompasses Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, remediation, subsurface investigations, and excavation oversight. The position supports environmental consulting projects for a leading gas station retailer on new sites throughout Ohio and Kentucky. While primarily office-based, some fieldwork is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of environmental projects including Phase I/Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, remediation, and subsurface investigations.
• Write and review technical reports and proposals.
• Actively source new business opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver marketing presentations.
• Hire and manage subcontractors.
• Mentor and train scientific staff to ensure quality work product.
• Ensure the safe performance of project work.
• Actively develop personal career growth.

Essential Skills

• 10+ years managing environmental consulting projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering.
• Strong technical experience geology, due diligence, site assessments, and subsurface investigations.
• Ability to write and review technical reports and proposals.
• Ability to create and maintain strong client relationships.
• Effective management and training of staff.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ohio EPA experience is a plus.
• Ohio Voluntary Action Program (VAP) is a plus.
• Business development experience is a plus.

This role is mainly in-office but requires occasional site visits, typically in Ohio or Kentucky. This is a Permanent position based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.

• The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
