Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Sonographer with experience in general, abdominal, OBGYN, and vascular ultrasound who holds current MA licensure and AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in an ultrasonography department with a range of general cases including abdomen, OBGYN, small parts, abdominal vascular, DVT, and follicular scans
• NICU and operating room experience is a plus
• Uses GE Logiq E10, GE Logiq E9, and GE Voluson ultrasound equipment
• EPIC EMR is used; experience preferred
• Schedule is Thursday and Friday 6:30 AM–5:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday 12:30 PM–11:00 PM
• Must be able to work independently with a variety of patient cases
• Parking is not validated at Boston locations; public transportation and paid parking are available
• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from central Boston; local rate adjustment applies
• Scrub attire requirements may apply per department policy

Requirements

• Active MA Sonographer license required; no conditional licenses accepted (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required; American Heart Association (AHA) preferred
• No minimum years of experience specified
• Must provide primary source verification of professional licensure and/or relevant certification
• Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions
