Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification and Texas MRT licensure for a day shift role rotating through multiple nuclear medicine specialties.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department
• Rotation through General Nuclear Medicine, Cardiac Nuclear Medicine, and Oncology PET/CT
• Provide diagnostic imaging services for patient populations ranging from infants to geriatrics
• Day shift schedule, Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM
• Weekly and holiday call rotation required
• Local candidates within 110 miles are not accepted
• Perform clinical nuclear medicine procedures under physician supervision according to professional standards
• Provide age-appropriate care for infants through geriatric patients
• RTO must be submitted for consideration
• Candidates must be able to complete required labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance or have a plan for timely completion

Requirements

• Graduate from an approved School of Radiologic Technology or Accredited School of Nuclear Medicine
• Current ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine
• Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license from the State of Texas required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Two references from supervisors within the last 3 years required for consideration
• Prior travel experience highly preferred
• License required if applicable
