POSITION SUMMARY:

The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient material flow, and supporting production operations. This role involves data entry, reconciling inventory, and collaborating with purchasing and production to ensure inventory accuracy in a manufacturing environment using ERP systems and physical counts.

Schedule:

5:00am - 1:30pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Monitor and maintain inventory levels to support production schedules and customer demand.

Conduct regular cycle counts, full physical inventory audits, and reconcile discrepancies.

Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures and best practices.

Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, adjustments, and transfers.

Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Generate inventory reports as needed.

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with procurement, production and other teams to ensure timely material availability.

Maintain clean and organized inventory storage areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in supply chain or logistics .

1-3 years of experience in inventory control or warehousing preferably in a manufacturing setting.

Familiarity in inventory software and Microsoft Excel.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
