Your Role as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:
Conduct pre/post-trip inspections on the tractor-trailer and complete the DOT inspection report.
Verify the bill of lading and store keys accurately for off-hour deliveries.
Transport tractor-trailer to destinations, utilizing your knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skills in vehicle maneuvering.
Maintain a driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, documenting delivery details, product temperatures, and any exceptions.
Unload trailers, delivering products to customer locations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring as a CDL-A Team Member:
Aged at least 21 years.
Possession of a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
A minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles in tractor-trailer driving experience.
Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
Ability to read, write, and understand English proficiently to fulfill job-related tasks effectively and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
