Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Schedule consists of 4-10 hour days or 5-8 hour days with late stays
• On-call rotation required
• Patient ratios of 1:1 or 2:1
• Work in 2 cardiac catheterization labs and 1 electrophysiology lab with holding area
• May float to holding, EP lab, or other areas within scope of practice
• Work with specialized equipment including GE fluoro, Mac Lab, Acist, Volcano, IVUS, Angiojet, and Penumbra
• Document using Mac Lab and Meditech systems
• Perform procedures including TAVR, Watchman, PCI, peripherals, Impella, and balloon pump
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and ARRT or RCIS Certification within 3 years of hire if not a Rad Technologist with ARRT
• Advanced skills needed for EP circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring (minimum of two skills required)
• Must follow hospital uniform dress code policy with provided scrubs

This 221-bed acute care facility serves the communities of Seminole and west Volusia counties, providing the only full-service cardiovascular program in the region. The hospital offers comprehensive cardiac services including open heart surgery, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac rehabilitation, and diagnostic services. Additional specialized services include orthopedic and spine care, robotic surgery, wound care, acute inpatient medical rehabilitation, complete imaging services, and obstetric care. The facility maintains designation as a Level II trauma center with 24/7 emergency care capabilities.
